1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Yeti ("the Service") at getyeti.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Yeti is an AI chat platform that provides access to various large language models (LLMs) from multiple providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others. The Service allows users to have conversations with AI models, store chat history, upload files, and optionally use their own API keys.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Generate, upload, or share illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content
  • Generate content that exploits or harms minors
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to generate spam, phishing content, or malware
  • Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
  • Circumvent any rate limits or usage restrictions
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. AI-Generated Content

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate
  • You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of AI responses
  • You should not rely on AI-generated content for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice
  • You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content

6. Credits and Payments

6.1 Credit System

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed based on the AI models you use. Different models have different credit costs.

6.2 Subscriptions

  • Paid subscriptions provide a monthly allocation of credits
  • Unused credits roll over to the next billing period as long as your subscription remains active
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings

6.3 Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us within 30 days.

7. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

If you choose to use your own API keys:

  • You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of the respective API providers
  • You are responsible for any charges incurred through your API keys
  • We encrypt and store your API keys securely, but you use this feature at your own risk
  • You may remove your API keys at any time through your account settings

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service to you.

8.3 AI Output

Subject to applicable laws and the terms of the underlying AI providers, you may use AI-generated outputs for your personal or commercial purposes. However, similar outputs may be generated for other users.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with and relies on third-party services, including AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.), payment processors (Stripe), and authentication providers (Google). Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these third parties.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Yeti and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
